IPA #5 - 5.5% ABV

Tasting notes:

Another entry in our fruity series of IPAs. Lots of candied peach, passion fruit, and citrus aroma and flavour, faint earthy notes and a soft bitterness. Hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic, and Citra.

Food Pairing:

The fruity, citrusy and floral notes make this ale great to pair with herbaceous Mexican food like chicken tacos topped with zesty guac and cilantro or toasted tortilla chips paired with salsa verde. Like it hot? Try pairing this beer with jerk chicken wings, or a spicy curry, the hop bitterness will kick up a dishes’ capsicum heat.

The Verdict:

With a medium bitterness balanced by a caramel malt sweetness and perfumey, tropical aromatics, this pale ale is will please both beer geeks and beer newbies alike.
